Mary Dillard is a Savannah native who was born with Cerebral Palsy. A Dean’s List scholar, Technical Writing major and recent graduate of Georgia Southern University, she plans to use her writing talents to advocate for individuals with disabilities and to bring attention to the issues they face by providing an authentic, first-person account of what living with a disability is actually like. She seeks to provide lawmakers and societal influencers with a realistic understanding of accessibility and hopes to one day work in the federal law enforcement field.
