Wayne Willcox retired as the police chief in an Ohio city before serving as the police chief for Armstrong State University. He currently serves as the Director of Special Programs for the Center of Applied Cyber Education at Georgia Southern University. His work in developing cybercrime investigative capacity in Savannah has been recognized with a number of awards including Georgia Governor’s Public Safety Award, The Georgia Chiefs of Police Dr. Curtis McClung/Motorola Award of Excellence, The Southern Legislative Conference STAR Award, A Federal 100 Award and the IACLEA Administrative Excellence Award.
